s type 2.7 d problems dpf. We have had the car for seven years now. We get no warning until both orange and red lights. come on together. It has always been an egr valve or the dpf when the diagnostics are checked. Although we do short runs during the week we have always taken it for a long run every two weeks. Red DPF warning came on alomg with the check engine light . Took the car out for a blast and the red warning cleared , but the check engine light remained on . Started the car the next morning and the engine warning light was gone .
